- I like anti-theft screws. They even included an Allen key and a screwdriver. I recommend keeping it unobtrusively in the car so it's always handy when you need it. All my cars use screws (not bolts), usually 2 above. So that's enough for one car (front and rear panels) - I like rust resistant screws, all my old license plate screws were rusty - However, the caps were tricky. After I screwed the plate all the way in, the caps would not snap into place. I had to loosen the screw a bit to allow the cover to snap into place. I'm not comfortable leaving the bolts a bit loose, that's probably normal, I've been riding like this for a few days and it doesn't look like it's going to be a problem. But I'm considering removing the black caps altogether.
