I've seen so many reviews that this tool doesn't work. from brands that do. This extender works great if you take your time. DO NOT use a percussion gun with it. It's not pro quality when you can just throw it down the exhaust pipe, apply some torque and expand the pipe in one go. I also wouldn't buy this if you need to expand the pipe more than 1/8 inch. . I would go for a Lisle Class Extender or higher quality. This is ideal when you just need to create a small extension to fit the new pipe into the old. this. 1/16-1/8 inch. How to use: Don't just pack everything in and start cranking. You have to work a little with the pipe. Insert halfway, tighten with hand tool (3/8 large head ratchet). Once it becomes difficult to rotate, take it out, locate it (rotate it 1/4 in the tube) and start again. Open the pipe and you will eventually get there. It just takes a little longer because you can't just hit him with a blunt weapon. I've used this tool more than once and it's always been fine. Take the time you need. If you look at another review titled "Don't Use Exposure" you will come to the same conclusion and experience. Just take your time, it will work.
