The brushes are conveniently shaped and small to fit in hard-to-reach places. Used to clean gears for power tools. They were also very cheap, so I was happy to use them. However, after a single use, the brass bristles began to fall out of the brush. At the end of a gear cleaning, about a quarter of the bristles were gone. The nylon brush held, but even the stainless steel brush started to lose bristles. 0 stars for the brass brush. 4 stars for the nylon brush. 3 stars for the stainless steel brush.
