This product is rarely used. I wanted holes in my desktop to hide computer cables. I have a cheap drill and it worked, but if you need to drill a few holes you need a better drill. Drilling four holes was stressful. The bits held up pretty well considering they went through hardwood and laminate about three quarters of an inch thick on both sides. You need to drill slowly so the sawdust is removed as you go. Four holes probably lasted 10-15 minutes. I would probably consider them unique as progress towards the fourth hole was slow. I suspect the bits are becoming dull. For the price it wouldn't be worth regrinding but they did the job I needed.
