I bought this for Mikey and Leo. They asked for some UV lamps and some heat for their beach during the colder months and I happily accepted. The stand holds the twin lamp socket perfectly and is height and depth adjustable as described. I use it for a 200 gallon feeder that is about 2.5 feet tall. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you slide your foot under something heavy and that you know the recommended height for your reps or herpes to get enough rays. (This is important for vitamin production and peel strength.)
