Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ ACDelco GM Original Equipment 15-74122: High-Performance Heating & Air Conditioning Temperature Valve Actuator by Richard Mangum

2007 Impala LTZ Door Operator Replacement

The two actuators are relatively easy to reach. Behind the glove box is the inside/outside air drive; to the left of the glove compartment is a warm/cold air drive for the front passenger; and deep under the driver's side dash is the driver's hot/cold air activator. This is a pain to get there. That's why I gave 2 stars for installation and removal, but the problem is with the design of the car, not with this product. This Delco air conditioner will last MUCH longer than other manufacturers' versions. I used them all in all 3 places. Off brands lasted from 2 to 9 months, no more. I switched two to the AC Delco brand and one still works. As with ANY man-made device, failures happen, but when they are expertly crafted, there are far fewer failures. A unit recently started going haywire so I'm swapping it out. The two that cause the most problems are the driver's side hot/cold and the outside/inside mixed air door. The third unit, for the passenger, hot/cold, just started making a faint click (not proprietary), so I'm replacing that with a Delco air conditioner as well. So spend a few bucks more on them rather than unbranded ones.
