Review on Black Reese Towpower 7005100 Class III Towing Security Kit by Jarrett Love

Bought because when changing cars I needed a model that lowers the balls a few inches instead of raising them. I liked the lock feature. I have ridden it several thousand kilometers since last year. Do what needs to be done in that regard. The quality of the lock seems decent. Not the most secure, and the key seems a bit of a joke compared to some of the more secure key types. It looks more like a basic bike lock than some of the more secure locks that don't use a small straight key. Etc.; but functional. I was surprised that within two weeks rust appeared on the locking system. I also had some trouble loosening the lock with some lube after the first 2 week ride, which seems to have gotten better. But now I make sure to delete the kit when I know I won't be using it anytime soon. No storage bags as advertised. Overall I would recommend for the price I bought here in Revane. Local retail listings did not match or locks were missing.
