Far superior to any phone or computer application I've used

This device is nearly reliable. I'll say it this way, it works better than any online or phone app I've used. I don't know all of them, just the ones I've used. All the other stuff I've used doesn't find and bring me home (yes I know where I live, others don't) but instead lead you deep into the woods to someone's private property. It may just be an anomaly with my address, but that's about all I can compare it to. That doesn't mean it's perfect, just better. For example, when driving through Michigan's Upper Peninsula, I wanted to take US2 on my way to Minnesota. However, after passing the proposed route from US2 to US41 (which would have been longer), the unit continued to instruct me to turn around at each intersection I arrived at and return to US41 to continue my route. The previous units I owned always corrected my itinerary and rerouted me with updated routes. Not this block. What happens if the road is closed without the appropriate diversion signs or if I want to drive to an unknown location in between? This device reversed that order a few days after my return! However, I found a solution or at least a workaround for this problem. I just turned off the device and restarted my ride from that point and it knew where to go again. I'm not saying you should do it, it just solved the problem for me. This may even have been fixed by Garmin in a software update that I haven't downloaded yet. But overall this is a fairly simple and practical product that I would recommend in this price range.
