I bought these spatulas as a set after seeing the brand's reviews and recommendations in America's test kitchen. They really weren't more expensive individually (bought as a set) than any other spatula I've ever bought, and yet WOW, there is a difference in function. For those who don't know, there are major differences in silicone quality between different kitchen utensil brands/manufacturers, which affects durability in terms of odor/taste proofness and heat resistance. I want to know that they are made by a reputable and trustworthy third party, especially for handling high temperature food. But what I really like more than anything else is the attention to detail that goes into making the leading edge of these tools flexible. The curved portion of the blade edge of all four spatulas is absolutely perfect for pressure, being more ribbed than I expected yet providing a stronger, more permanent bond to any surface I scratch, including the insides of plastic spice jars, which are often uneven Have surfaces and protrusions that interfere with the effective operation of the mop. Where I used to stir simmering food, sauces or scrambled eggs with wooden or metal spatulas or spoons, I now use them from start to finish as they make stirring, stirring, transferring and removing from the pan very efficient. If, like us, you enjoy cooking or baking at home, you'll immediately appreciate the difference in quality and efficiency these well-designed tools bring to your job.
