Review on Solberg 04 Filter Element Diameter by Osoulo Sharp

Is there a difference between an unmarked counterfeit filter element and a genuine USA made Solberg element? I think so. I compared them side by side and they look almost the same. You feel the same way. However, the element and plastic filter housing that came with my recently purchased 225psi Dewalt D55168 air compressor. Customs are not marked. The Solberg filter element is marked "Made in the USA" and has an embossed patent number. Also, the cooldown was 20 seconds shorter with Solberg's Element. This indicates that the Solberg element has fewer limitations. I'm surprised that Dewalt's quality control department would allow such an exchange. Someone is cutting corners. Use a genuine Solberg element and replace the cheap plastic OEM filter housing with a genuine Solberg element. In addition, the filter housing of the original part fell apart during use and the element and cover fell to the ground. I'm surprised Dewalt replaced them with a cheap imitation.
