Seems to be working fine. I like that it's a lot quieter than the one it replaced. I love that it works within seconds of pulling out the hose to clear the line. I like that it drains from the bottom so I don't have to climb stairs to drain from the top. You should have a choice: with a pocket or without a pocket. I let it run without a bag for about 30 seconds and it was already starting to clog the hep filter. I took it apart, blew out the filter with a compressor and put a bag inside. I wish there was a way to use bags again. I could try to find a way to do this. My old vacuum had open top bags. I was able to empty and put it back in easily. I actually double bagged it to keep the inside clean. Another benefit of an open pouch is that accidental sucking can land on the contents of the pouch and be easily removed. My old vacuum cleaner also had a connection directly on the device, but this one didn't. I know I can make another connection just before the piping goes into the unit, but that's just another project to deal with. This new block costs about the same as my old one would have needed repairs. Time will tell if I like it better.
