Review on 🔩 DAP 08660 Commercial 9 8 Ounce Stainless: Premium Stainless Steel Sealant for Professional Use by Chris Wheeler

I have attempted to emboss a stainless steel finish but this product was VERY difficult to work with. It required considerable pressure to flow from the tip and then failed to stop the flow of saliva from the tube even when pressure on the plunger was released. The silicone then exited through the plastic stopper inside the tube. Probably because it took so much pressure to get through the ferrule (cut to 1/8 inch) that the side of the tube buckled, allowing the plug to pass. Not only did I spend $15 on a tube of sealant, but I also had a mess cleaning my gun. The only positive was that the sealant was so thick that the leak was as thick as putty and didn't stick well. Look at the picture - the leaked sealant kept its shape. Disappointing waste of money and time.
