Review on Wood Carving Tools Kit for Beginners, Kids - Whittling Knife, Spoon, Clay, Curved Blade, Fruit, Hook Knife by Denise Davis

I bought these for my 11 year old son and we started using them the day after they arrived. They arrived sharp and in good condition. The handles are comfortable and firm. We also purchased two beginner's guides which were invaluable in completing the "set" of knowing what to do with it. I also bought plain gloves for my son. It's probably overkill, but there's some calm, at least while he's studying. Other sets may sell a full range of these items but I am very happy with the quality of these knives at this price point and am happy to find accessories that fit my preferences/budget. Two important notes for buyers: 1) Knives come with very basic rubber guards on each blade. That's enough, but it would be nice to have full coverage for the blade. Just note that the blades will need to be stored in a safe place or box as they will be exposed. 2) It would be nice if the kit came with basic instructions, particularly on how to use a sharpening stone.
