Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic SUV 205/70 R15 96T winter by Wiktor Lisowicz ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall it's not bad, but I expected more.

When choosing, I read reviews and tests of how Goodyear engineers have been developing this particular model for more than one year, and it turned out to be the perfect winter tires, the killer of Hakkapelita. I wanted better tires, so instead of Hakki 7 (which at that time was even cheaper), as on the previous car, I took this one. And disappointed. Fully. Behavior in turns is simply not safe, but with such a reason to return to the seller, unfortunately, did not work. You have to use it further: sneak around corners and buzz like an airplane on straight lines.

Pros
  • It rows well in snow and porridge. Beautiful tread, fits the style of the car))
Cons
  • It hums like a propeller plane taking off. When running - at any speed, after - in the range of city driving. Hellishly blows sideways in a turn on a slippery surface, even at low speeds. You have to go literally below the speed of the flow - how is this even possible?! After Hakki 7 was at first shocked. Spikes fly out much more actively than the same Hakka 7 with the same calm driving style (4-7 pieces per wheel in 2 years, with 0-1 pieces on Hakka over the previous 2 years).
