I had very poor signal strength in addition to my bedroom (from my telco provided DSL b/g wireless modem/router) due to the distance and walls in between, but I had forethought around to lay an Ethernet cable during the construction phase. Setting up this access point with a switch to connect to the rest of the network worked with a little help from tech support. This application required manual configuration. Maybe I could figure it out by following the instructions, but I tried the automatic setup first and couldn't set it up. Tech support was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly etc - a pleasure to work with. A 150Mbps hotspot is sufficient for my 100Mbps Ethernet network and has become the default hotspot for other parts of the house due to its speed and signal strength. This works great for me!
