The kit is designed for 12-33mm holes. This mount may work well on larger bore stems, but it doesn't fit my Hayabusa with a 12mm stem bore at all. I followed the instructions exactly and this bracket does not tighten. There isn't enough rubber to clamp the inside of the stem and the bolt wants to turn. Another problem is that the smallest plastic nut holder can't bite down on the rubber enough. I was ready to throw this whole set in the trash. After pausing for a while I tried again and finally managed to get the rubber to grab the stem and it tightened. It still doesn't hold very well and pivots without much effort, but at least it's secured well enough that it can't be pulled out of the stem. I wish I had just bought a brake/clutch reservoir mount. Model RAM-B-309-1U (plain motorcycle brake/clutch reservoir with barrel mount and 1" ball). This mount is cheaper and has much higher ratings. Most likely I will replace that mount with this one.
