Review on 📶 Belkin N600 DB F9L1101 Wireless Dual-Band USB Adapter - High-Speed up to 300Mbps (Black) by Victor Rodriguez

I recently had to move my computer to another location in the house. This place didn't have ethernet access (unless I wanted to run ugly wires throughout the house) so I decided to connect to Wi-Fi. I received this adapter, plugged it in and connected to the internet. instantly. For some time. Then, the next day, when I was uploading a video to Youtube, my connection suddenly dropped. All my other WiFi devices worked fine. When trying to diagnose the problem, I saw that Windows reports an error code 31 - that it cannot load drivers for the device. Which is odd considering the drivers were only working a few minutes ago. After a whole day of unsuccessful searching and troubleshooting, I contacted Belkin Support who informed me that the F9L1101v1 does not support Windows 8.1. Apparently it supports Windows 8, but in general . I think 1 is a big deal.tl;dr If you are using Windows 8.1, DO NOT buy this!
