Not the best of tailoring

Gel padding is great! My old felt-lined velor shorts were so wrinkled it was time to redo them. Not wanting to spend $80-$100 on major bike brands, I decided to give them a try. The leg straps fit perfectly and are not tight at all. I wear them under long leggings when it's cold and they work great. The only thing that doesn't suit me is the sewing part. One of the stitching on the bag came out the first time I put it on and I noticed there was a long black thread hanging there. I had to change it. Then a wide elastic band is not sewn into the belt so that it does not roll down. When I wear shorts they don't roll up, but when I wash them I notice that the elastic inside the band is twisted and it takes me a while to straighten it out and lay it flat again. Today I sewed the elastic/tape in 5 places, I hope this solves the problem. I would have sent them back but it took me forever to find gel padded compression cycling shorts and they are very comfortable so I decided to just fix them myself.
