works exactly as described! The only reason I'm writing this review is that after 10 months it finally flopped (sort of). One day he just got up and stopped working. I was able to connect but there was no sound. The solution was simple. Mine came from the factory with the switches set to the satellite as instructed. I used this setup because my Lexus es350 doesn't have satellite radio. I took out the bt45 toy and checked that the dip switches were still in the correct position (they were). I checked the manual and set the dip switches to "cdc", not sure if that means CD player, but I tried and it worked. just sat down. If you hesitate to get it, don't! It's a really great bluetooth that you don't have to worry about connecting every time you get in your car as it does it automatically. to see if it works or not. mine did and I'm sure others who have the same problems will too.
