Pros: This is a solid, well made set that required minimal sharpening on arrival. This worked great for carving our turkey. The Bad: The finishing touches are a bit rough. You can feel a slight edge where the grip material meets the shaft. Nevertheless, it feels good in the hand. The worst thing was that it wasn't carefully packed at all. I'm really surprised he survived the trip. The fragile box it comes in was thrown into a flimsy, unpadded mailer. The box was badly crumpled when removed. The fact that the set remained intact speaks volumes for its design.
