Check out the reviews on the Black and Decker website - there are a lot of reviews about the same problem I had: the multi-cooker doesn't heat well. I'm cooking pulled pork for a church dinner, I used two equal sized slow cookers for two equal sized roasted pork. My old stove worked perfectly and the roast was ready at the right time. It's been several hours and the roast in my new Black and Decker slow cooker is still not done. (I'm moving the roast to an old stove.) It's really pretty, but I don't recommend it because it doesn't cook food properly.
