Does not get very hot and does not cook well. Really disappointed. We slow cook 2 or 3 meals a week and were sad when our old CrockPot finally died, but excited to try digital. None of our recipes cooked well in this slow cooker and unfortunately we missed the return window to find out if it was us or the product. We do not recommend this product.

Overall I like the design of the multicooker - the lid has rubber rims to seal, the handles and how they slide over the lid for an even more secure fit when travelling. but the elastic band around the lid keeps all odors out. Handles are rather thin and made of plastic. I tried to make soup and ate carrots and potatoes. After 4 hours of cooking on high and 4 hours on low, the vegetables were still not fully cooked. It was also annoying that the metal loop you use to secure the lid was awkward to maneuver and I had to wiggle it back and forth a bit to get it out when I needed to secure both sides. The surface of the chalkboard is useful when I take unfamiliar food to a big dinner, so people know what they're getting without having to stand by the pot and explain.
