, This is my first foray into rechargeable batteries for home use and my results/opinions are mixed. I love that I don't have to throw my used batteries in the trash which is why I bought them and gave them 4 stars. But rechargeable batteries don't last as long as disposable batteries. I had to adjust the usage pattern a bit to maximize the life cycle. I usually charge these things up when they're low and then put them in a drawer, rotating each battery at a steady rate. But these things lose their charge when they're in a drawer, so I quickly recharge them before plugging them into the device. Regardless, I seem to swap out batteries 2-5 times more often than disposable batteries. And another interesting point: The remote control for my quadrocopter explicitly says *no* to use rechargeable batteries in it. I'm not sure why, but I think it has something to do with what I described above.
