well I'm not sure about the cons unless people are light and I mean slightly mechanically inclined whatever. I'll admit I have an engineering background despite never graduating, but this thing is so easy to use that even a caveman can handle it. The instructions are simple and clear and the diagrams in the instructions are very well done. This product even includes a YouTube tutorial for those who are visually inclined to read, which is my most common. Easy to use, folks will bring your drills back to brand new condition. If you were like me and bought beats for projects and when they were done or before they were done you fried them because they didn't do their job anymore then like me you were wasting money. Well, I'm not a pro, and not even a seasoned intermediate pro. DIY only. My only complaint about this device is twofold; #1 is the included wrench to hold the drive wheel to replace the grinding wheel, it has no space on the main body to mount it, which could easily be done by placing a strong magnet on the end opposite the motor to Act as a holder or even a slot would be nice #2, they should have made room for the chuck to rest other than inside the grinding port. All in all a great product as I sharpened a few bits to get them back to normal. Now for the fact that this system is rather preferable to the next two top models. You have to decide what you need and then buy it. But if you want a basic system that works with little to no setup time, and then go racing, this system will work.
