Easy to use. Works perfectly.

I've wanted one of these for a long time. I'm glad I finally got it. The instructions are simple and clear. You put the drill in the holder, push it down a little, put the holder in the device, hook up, switch on and do a few revolutions by hand until the diamond blade cuts two new edges on the drill. Fiction. Aside from saving you money and waste (as opposed to throwing away dull drill bits), the coolest thing is that you can quickly and easily sharpen your drill bits AS YOU NEED. So, even if…

Should have been 50 years ago.

Well, I've sharpened a few dozen points and this device really sharpens them! It requires a slight learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, everything will run like clockwork. Follow the step-by-step instructions carefully. Depending on how blunt your tip is, you may need to sharpen it up to three times throughout the tuning cycle. After each sharpening, check that the entire surface of the chisel has been ground. If "old" metal is still visible, you will need to re-tune and re-sharpen.

Inexpensive grinding and dressing drills

I bought a simple inexpensive tool just to try it. It took about 5 exercises to figure it out and get it/me working properly. The first few beats weren't broken, they were just done wrong and I had to redo them. I have to say it's a good toy for the price. I have over 200 tips that I have hand sharpened over the years. Fading my vision, advice getting worse and worse. Now all 200+ have new sharp and straight tips. It lasted about 1.5 hours at my coffee table while watching TV. Overall a good…

Drill doctor works! good for power tools and hand tools

well I'm not sure about the cons unless people are light and I mean slightly mechanically inclined whatever. I'll admit I have an engineering background despite never graduating, but this thing is so easy to use that even a caveman can handle it. The instructions are simple and clear and the diagrams in the instructions are very well done. This product even includes a YouTube tutorial for those who are visually inclined to read, which is my most common. Easy to use, folks will bring your drills

No more blunt drills!

During my kitchen remodel, I had to install 112 drawers and cabinets, each of which required two holes to be drilled in 3/4 inch hardwood. My drill dulled quickly and I figured at this rate I would need to buy at least three more drills. two or three to finish the job and one more to get back to my drill index box. At about $3.50 each, that was $11.50. Also, I had three complete sets of drill bits with varying degrees of bluntness. If I could sharpen them all the savings in overhauling existing
