Review on 🔧 676061 Kwikee Motor Replacement Kit - Black by Steven Lane

Jayco Greyhawk has a Kwikee "double step" with an AM 214-1001 2G16 electric motor. I spent hours looking for a replacement by reading blogs, contacting Jayco, AM and kwikee, and calling three camping worlds in Virginia as a last resort. This engine worked. Three hex nuts and replace them! Twenty minutes maximum. CW didn't have any vacancies, they waited months, so they ordered it here and fixed it in two days. We're lawyers and nurses, not do-it-yourselfers, and we got it done with no rush. The item is exactly the same as in the photo. Kwikee's two-step staircase now opens/closes with the door instead of screeching when the poor thing strains. Highly recommend using this spare even if you aren't handy. It was so easy! I sent the message because I wanted to help save others the research work. The motor is made by AM and all the ladders in most motorhomes are made by Kwikiee. The picture shows 3 screws.
