Review on TUO Knife Set Kitchen Ergonomic by Paul Lee

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very thin and sharp knife blocks

Items purchased as gifts Knife sets, sharpeners and cabinet rack TUO 7 piece knife set and steak knife Nice appearance, very thin, sharp, 56 RC (soft) but easy to sharpen 5" There were bad tool markings on the utility -Bottom side and they couldn't replace just one. Replaced the entire set and replacing the 5" utility was even worse. Sharpening is not the same on every side 8-12 except for the Nakiri and the smaller knife. The unit in kit looks nice but not functional. To use the block under the cabinet, the edge of the knives will touch the floor when you put them in you have to be very careful. Also sharp and thin knives tend to get stuck in plastic boards to dig, and the balance point is pretty far back due to the G10 fiberglass handle (vertical marks) after about 50 strokes each side (cuts paper, not much for hair) Ideal for sharpening not too smooth Make a plastic cone for the corner (will find another use when fishing outdoors). Fall-out block under cabinet bottom. Very good product (I would buy again). Magnets and plastic blocks are reliable and durable. Inside width is 9", so my steak knives were 9.5". had to be mounted at an angle The paper template is not good, needs to be trimmed to fit shelves that are nearby (holes will fit) The template needs to be redesigned with lines mimicking the minimum areas of the shelf and springs and knape and Vogt hinges need to be bent into the other side so you can see what you're doing (as another reviewer suggested).
