Review on 9.5-inch High Leverage Lineman's Pliers: Superior Strength for Electricians and Cutting Tasks by Joshua Mccall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice for the price. More than I expected. Heavy Duty Pliers. Lots of leverage.

At 9.5 inches, these pliers are quite large. You need a fairly large hand to fully open it with one hand, which you would use large pliers for. They have a built in wire cutter that can cut fairly thick wire. You get a lot of big handle levers, which is nice. Fairly cheap to buy. There are brands that offer their tools a lot more expensive and probably a little better quality. If I compare the quality and considering the price in general i have to give these pliers 5 stars. The handles are nice and a bit soft. You can feel the transition in the materials where the Sunex brand is in the handles. Texture. If you're holding expensive German pliers, it might feel different than a Sunex, but we'll cut them off anyway. You get a Sunex pliers for the price of a German pliers. The tongs come with the right amount of lube and sit in the right place. I was expecting to have to work with them a bit to loosen them like I do with other brands of pliers, but they turned out great right away. Overall I am very happy with this tool.

Pros
  • Crosshatched teeth for a firmer grip.
Cons
  • No power
