Review on The418 πŸ”§ Grease Coupler by Thexton by Jelani Weaver

Conventional greases are designed for conv. Couplings

The traditional grease fittings I have found do not all have the same design in the grease ball. The diameter is standard, so a standard coupling will suffice. But mirrors can vary in size from tip to shaft. When I tried to use this clutch on my Chevy Astro it got up to most of the zerks and squirted grease into them, but some of the zerks were loose and couldn't seal well enough to keep the grease from escaping all over the zerk . This coupling was designed so that the tip to stem is always the same distance, and instead of sealing the ball/stem area of the mirror, it has a slot in the tube with a spring-loaded plastic wedge device inside the tube, a round cup in the wedge and a hole in the cup for draining fat. When you insert the hose into the lake by sliding the slot in the hose across the lake, the lake will push the wedge onto the opposite side of the hose until it fits into the cup of the plastic wedge. So if the tip to stem is shorter, there won't be enough pressure on the end of the mirror to prevent lube from flowing through the mirror. There aren't many solutions to mirror bottlenecks, so I recommend trying this connector, but it may not be the ultimate solution.
