This pan is very good. I've used it on both the stovetop and the grate of my Weber grill. I actually prefer to use it in a Weber because I can use the heat from the grill to evenly heat the entire pan. This eliminates the cooler spot you would normally use on the stovetop as the burners are only on the ends. I successfully cook fish, beef and great pancakes on the grill. Make sure the pan is well heated before use and always use some fat, like butter, bacon fat or even a little olive oil. It is cast iron and will rust with abuse. Be sure to season it well and peel gently. I've had to season it several times since buying it, but that's part of owning cast iron. Anyone complaining about rust just needs to season it properly and learn a little more about handling and caring for cast iron cookware. Remember to get a second one to cover almost the entire Weber cooktop with pans, one smooth side and one with grill marks for a medium cooking station setting.
