Pressing this button is awesome. I know a lot of button clicks get mixed reviews, but thought I'd clear up a possible confusion someone might have regarding icon usage and clicking. It's a simple device so it's very easy to get acquainted with and it comes with an instruction sheet for setup and basic usage. The push button style is similar to the Neil Enterprises brand push button machine but is lighter and much more affordable. First of all, the machine doesn't require much force to press. From the videos I keep seeing of people using them and having broken icons, it all seems like people are using too much or too little force. It's important to note that the shapes are in a specific position when pressed, so you can tell when the button is fully pressed and ready. to fit and be fairly flush with the inside. It must not be crooked, the top of the badge must be completely in the center of the ring. I had a broken icon that I tried to click twice because it didn't fully work the first time. A few other things to watch out for: Paper weight matters! You can press very light cardstock (about 50 pounds) but not heavy cardstock or scrapbooking paper. It is best to use regular copier paper (19-24 lb) as it is easier to press. Make sure you only use one piece of Mylar. It's really thin, thinner than you think. This will NOT work with US button sizes. America uses Imperial sizes, so buttons are 0.03 inches larger. American buttons are 1.25 inches long when pressed, these are 1.28 inches long when pressed (58mm). Final Verdict: It is very easy to use. At first I was expecting and it seems really sturdy. Also, you never know how many 1000 buttons there are. That is much. It's probably worth over 2 square feet of unpressed buttons. That's really a great thing. Plus, the shapes are completely interchangeable! I am very happy to receive other sizes of molds and buttons so I can make more products.
