I've used several salicylic acid products over the years for common blackheads on my face, especially on the nostrils and forehead. Nothing seems to have changed or it was too hard on my face. I just accepted the outcome of the status quo and stuck to my usual body wash. While I don't have rampant adult acne per se, I do have the occasional breakout and blackheads in the usual places. So no big deal. But after trying several Brickell products, I settled on this one. It's been a few weeks now and I only use it once a day (although the bottle recommends twice) as my problem isn't severe and I'm impressed. For the first time in my adult life, I simply have no visible blackheads around my nose and forehead. I am definitely keeping this in my morning shower routine! The only downside, but certainly not enough to earn a star for it, is that it's a bit runny. Still viscous, but bottled when you're not expecting it. Simply press a quarter of the application onto your hands and then onto your face for 20-30 seconds, focusing on problem areas. Rinse and go!
