Based on the reviews here on Best Buy, I asked Santa for this mat for Christmas. I chose the 1/4" over 1/8" thick mat and so happy I did. I am a yoga instructor, and this mat gives gives me added cushioning I need to demonstrate the asana's. I usually had pressure areas on my small wrists and knees on the thinner mats I own, so the added cushion is just perfect. I couldn't decide if I wanted the ocean color or evergreen. I decided on ocean and it is just beautiful. The coloring variation throughout the mat is so unique & soothing as you flow through your asana's. I like the coloring on the opposite side of the mat best, so I roll it out on the opposite side and it still lays perfectly flat. The only issue with smell is very slight and only when I am in child's pose. 10 stars Highly recommended**Fast forward 1.5 years later.Pitted and slippery at times. I just bought a Jade Harmony rubber yoga mat to replace. Hands down, it is the best mat with extraordinary grip.
