I don't know how others get this part to work on their Cherokee. enough room for the screw to push fully against the part, not to mention the lock nut that fits in that space. I would have to use a plasma cutter and round off the factory mounting hole on the axle so it sits farther from the axle metal it is in contact with. What a stupid design. You could shift the mounting holes a bit. to fix this problem. Putting the bolt head in the rear is enough, but then I would have to remove the factory bolts to remove the shock and this part to remove that bolt anyway, making this part completely unnecessary.
