Good in short; This tool was a life saver when I needed to install an outdoor light fixture on a very old stucco house. For reference; This is a 1930's Spanish style home in Southern California. So it's old school, thick, thick stucco concrete laid by hand on a steel mesh lathe. Not the textured sprays you use these days. This material is incredibly hard and overlaid in a very thick layer. I can't stress enough how incredibly tough this patch is. That's ridiculous. Trying to make a hole for the control box for this light was a bit of a chore. After some trial and error (mostly errors) and after a lot of mostly unsuccessful research, I was ready to admit defeat. That was until I saw someone mention that this particular hole saw was effective for similar material. So I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! This hole saw made the nightmare of the job a breeze. Where several other tools failed, this saw cut through plaster and even steel grating like a hot knife through butter. It only took a few minutes to get a clean, perfectly round hole without breaking the surrounding material. Another benefit was that it didn't generate as much dust as other tools we tried. The only issue for me was that the wall was a bit thicker than this saw so it landed on the ground before cutting through completely. But it was close enough that I could punch out a hole with a chisel without too much trouble, and the wall was incredibly thick, so I'm not deducting a star for that because I doubt it's very common. curious, I used this with a corded drill. I'm not sure a cordless drill will be as effective. Great tool, easy to use and durable. I highly recommend!
