Review on Efficient Fuel Transfer with FloTool 10801 Shaker Siphon: 6' Anti-Static Tubing by Travis Vasquez

Finally used after buying it a year ago. I lost the instructions so I guessed it first and used it wrong. NOTICE >>> IF YOU USE IT WRONG. IT DOES NOT WORK VERY WELL! It's like connecting the battery the wrong way round! Extremely simple operation and concept. The metal end enters the liquid. You shake it up and down, creating a pumping motion with the ball inside. It pumps/sucks liquid. Pumps up surprisingly quickly. Once the entire tube is filled, it works by itself. Not a fountain like a pump at a gas station, but enough that I had to keep an eye on it so as not to overfill the intake canister. FWIW section: I drained the diesel tank and reduced it to about 1 inch or 1/2 inch. Hard to tell by looking straight through the gas cap with a flashlight. I have no doubt it would have sucked more if the end of the siphon was flush or parallel to the bottom of the tank lawn mower etc. It has to do with the shaking time required and the physical size. Anyway, I was very happy with its performance and glad that something cheap actually worked well.
