Great refueling device

I use it to refuel the generator and dump excess gas from canisters into the truck when I don't use it for a while. It's cleaner and easier than emptying a heavy 5 gallon can or carrying many smaller containers. He dumped a 5 gallon can into the truck in about 1-2 minutes. It took about 2-3 shakes to get going and it fell apart until it was too low to work. It was a little wrinkled in the packaging, so (before using) I just warmed it up with a hair dryer and removed the frizz. happy with it and

For transferring stored petrol into cars

My wife and I use this siphon to transfer stored petrol from jerry cans into our cars. We buy bulk gasoline from gas stations that either offer fuel discounts or lower prices in neighboring states. We rely on this siphon so much that I recently bought a second one in case the first one broke - after two years of weekly use (1-3 times a week on average) it hasn't broken. If you compare the one I bought two years ago to the one I bought recently, they seem very similar. Buy with confidence. The…

No pump needed Best tools and equipment

No pump needed to fill the solution tank in my fifth wheel pickup truck. I put my water tanks on the tool box in the back of the truck so they are well above the water tank. Then I place the shaker siphon in the container and shake it up and down until there is enough water in my 50ft neoprene hose that I attached to the shaker siphon to start the siphon (I only use the short vinyl hose , which is supplied with a siphon). for short water transfers). Then I just wait for the first bin to empty…

So simple but works great.

Works great. I placed a five gallon can of gas on a towel in the trunk of my car, stuck the plain end into the filler neck, stuck the brass end into the can, gave it a few shakes and it drained immediately. When the container was empty, I tipped it to get the last piece out. It took two to three minutes to empty 5.5 gallons. To pump gas into my van, I put a container on the table next to the van. Another reviewer complained about a kink in the hose and mine arrived just like that. To solve this

Works very well! Best oil system tool

Finally used after buying it a year ago. I lost the instructions so I guessed it first and used it wrong. NOTICE >>> IF YOU USE IT WRONG. IT DOES NOT WORK VERY WELL! It's like connecting the battery the wrong way round! Extremely simple operation and concept. The metal end enters the liquid. You shake it up and down, creating a pumping motion with the ball inside. It pumps/sucks liquid. Pumps up surprisingly quickly. Once the entire tube is filled, it works by itself. Not a fountain…

Works great with tools and gadgets

I bought this siphon when I got my generator last year. It's so easy and so great! I had a generator full of 8 gallons of gasoline plus another 15 gallons in cans. After a few months I had to drain the gas (yes I used a fuel stabilizer) to keep it from spoiling. This device allowed me to drain the alternator so I could work out the last few ounces without wasting a lot of gas. I also put three 5 gallon cans in my car. Without the siphon, I would have to hold and balance the canisters, which…
