Review on Kleinn Air Horns HOGKIT-1: Powerful Direct Drive Horn System in Striking Silver & Black, 14 Inch by Marcus Braunstein

GREAT American product with the WORST written instructions I have ever seen. Fortunately, YouTube has an installation video. Between that and poorly written instructions and some clever wiring, I managed to get it done. The hose assembly was not assembled properly and I had to remove, re-seal and re-install the air hose fitting so the hose could be attached discreetly or the ugly hose would stick out in front of the horn! Without the YouTube video I would have never figured out how to install this thing. Too bad an American company with a relatively decent product can't hire someone competent enough to write clear and effective instructions. A completed project deserves 10 stars, but incompetent guides don't deserve stars. They also recommend cutting the original Harley wiring harness, which is crazy! I removed the tab from the stock horn, soldered it to one of the horn wires, attached it with three layers of heat shrink tubing, and actually made my own connector to attach to the stock wiring harness without cutting anything. The accessory harness ground connection has been wrapped around the positive connection with heat shrink tape to ensure a very clean and REVERSE installation. It is NOT mentioned that the original horn mounting plate has to be removed from the original horn cap. Like I said before, and I'll say it again, the instructions are TERRIBLE! reckless!
