Check bowls for leaks before use

One of my bowls had a small hole, which I unfortunately discovered by choosing that bowl to be the water dish the first time I filled it. Be sure to check if both bowls are water-tight before use. I wound up marking the underside of the punctured bowl with a sharpie so I can remember to use that one for food and not water.

Pros

The bowl works great for our cat eating her food. It is not so great for her drinking water.
