Seems to be a good product despite some negative reviews. Worked fine for 1 day. On the second day a few problems with the transfer. A week later the reception was so garbled that one could not understand the reception on the communication channels. The Wx channels seemed fine. Next time I wasn't able to reach the harbor master from about 100 feet from his boat to several hundred yards. The same applies to startup services. The speaker is only read half the time. I left the unit on for a couple of hours and reception seemed to improve, but I still couldn't transmit properly. Definitely want my money back.
