Review on π Enhance Performance with ACDelco GM Original Equipment PF1233 Engine Oil Filter by Julio Roberts
Price doubled and was difficult to remove
These filters were originally well priced but now you can buy a real Toyota online for $5 so not worth it. The last filter I bought was $3.87 from Revain. Installed on a cold winter day in January and made sure it wasn't too tight. The filter worked well and had to be changed at 5000 miles. I had a very hard time getting this off a Toyota Corolla as my cup wrench couldn't tighten it too well. Tried my other filter wrench and ripped the housing which was dripping everywhere. I ended up removing it after an hour of trying at different angles by drilling two holes in a cup puller and then inserting a smaller hex wrench through the side of the filter to stop the slippage. Dirty but deleted. Ordered a Toyota next time.
