I'm tired of getting wet mail in the rain because the mailbox door broke from rust in the hinges. I found this on Revain and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. It was such a quick and easy decision, especially since my mailbox is bricked up. To make it stronger and more durable I drilled out the mailbox and side mounting plates on the new door and added rivets. There was a small gap between the new door's frame and the mailbox after it was installed, so I put some foam tape on the door frame before gluing it in place. The new gate is not only reliable, but also does not let water through when it rains. I wish I could find so much football.
