A simple solution to a potentially complex problem

This was a life saver for me. The front door of my mailbox was rusty and fell off. The mailbox is in a brick structure and is actually cemented into the brick so I had no idea how to fix it. I googled and saw that there are snap-on options that looked easy enough to me. I jumped on the Revain and immediately found the retro-fit snap-in replacement. It had good reviews and seemed easy enough. It arrived quickly and it took longer to pry the last rusty hinge off the old door than to literally…

Easy to fit replacement door for your mailbox

I'm tired of getting wet mail in the rain because the mailbox door broke from rust in the hinges. I found this on Revain and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. It was such a quick and easy decision, especially since my mailbox is bricked up. To make it stronger and more durable I drilled out the mailbox and side mounting plates on the new door and added rivets. There was a small gap between the new door's frame and the mailbox after it was installed, so I put some foam tape…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Security

Easy to install! And works like a dream

You can't imagine how happy my postman was when I installed this easy to install Mailbox Door on my mailbox! My mailbox is a brick mailbox and I would have had to completely hollow out the old box just because my door was rusted and out of order! But with this product I was able to pry open the old door completely, put it in the opening, I drilled two holes and riveted this product to keep it in place forever and it was a miracle! Actually, my postman asked me how the hell did you fix that…

Get it now! in mailbox Accessories and equipment

Great! Someone knocked on my mailbox door. I'd have to hire someone to take the rock apart and put a new mailbox in it for a few hundred bucks. I saw it, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. If it didn't work I would have wasted $35, but I'd rather do that than spend a few hundred and find I could fix it for a lot less. It took a little while to finish ripping open the old door. out. Half of it is already demolished anyway. Once I removed the old door. I just turned it all the way…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • A few little things

I agree 100% with the other reviewer! Whoever came up with this (the Bay Area Mailbox Company) is a genius! We recently bought a house and after moving in I realized that our brick letterbox was in dire need of attention. The handle on the door was broken. I was still able to open and close it, but it took longer. Yet every day our mail was delivered, the lid was left open. I wasn't a fan of it at all. Especially after the package was gone. So I decided it was time to do some more research…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Excellent repair kit

We have a brick mailbox body and the mailbox door lost a rivet on one side. As a result, every time we or the postman opened the box, she would bend the remaining loop. I was about to rivet the side piece together, but before I had a chance it was bent and didn't fit. I had no idea what I would do. I thought about cutting out the old drawer (very difficult) or maybe going to Home Depot and buying a new drawer, taking the door off and trying to install it on my existing drawer. ", and found out…

Pros
  • Handy

  • Poor instructions
