I was worried at first, the way this was packaged it appeared to be a return, however I was pleasantly surprised by how much my entire family enjoys this! The box has a sphere shaped light, charging cable, remote, instructions, and wooden base. The charging cable can be plugged into a laptop or similar usb port, it does not come with an adapter. (See images) The globe needs to charge about 3 hours before using. A red light indicates charging, and shuts off when completed. One full charge will get you a steady 8 hours (at least) of ambient lighting. There are two ways to control the colors and light; the remote, or gently tapping the metal circle at the bottom. This is fun to hold, or keep it on the wood stand. It’s a type of 3d printed material (no weird smell) and I can say from experience it’s sturdy. After only a few minutes out of the box it crashed into the floor and it survived! Definitely one of our favorite items.
