I originally wanted these grinders for their sleek and sleek looks, but I also love their functionality! Overall I'm happy with the product with a few quirks that earned me 4 stars. with one hand, "mix" it with the other hand. The nice thing is that you don't have to wash your hands every time you need to add more. The coffee grinders are easy to use and appear to be of pretty good quality. It takes 4 AA batteries, which seems like a lot for a product, especially when the only place for the salt/pepper is on the transparent part of the grinder. I feel like there could be more room for the spice allowing more time between refills. The ability to change the grind size is another thing I really like. It should be noted that if you turn it clockwise for smaller grains, you can turn it all the way and it will turn off. Alternatively, in the case of larger grains, it continues to rotate without "stop" when rotating counterclockwise. Finally, I like the backlight on the bottom. The lighting on my stove isn't the greatest, and in this case it shows how heavily you're salting the food. There isn't much light, but just enough not to overdo it!
