
So far these little drives have been rock solid. Much faster than the USB sticks I've used before. I "mirrored" them like USB drives. I can't say anything bad about them yet. My understanding is that the duty cycle of the FreeNAS startup disk is quite low since the filesystem is loaded into memory at boot time. So the discs are just written for the magazines and don't quote me but I think it just happens once a day or multiple times a day. Anyhow, I'm not sure if it would be good in a more classic scenario like booting into Windows or Linux with lots of reads and writes, but so far they've been fast and reliable for my use.
