Quality, Reliability, and Durability of Genuine GM Parts

Hope this helps someone. With the right tools, it takes about an hour for both sides. The dealer was asking nearly $800 for what appeared to be the same shocks. What I didn't like was that the strikes came from two different places and were broadcast two days apart, so I didn't know if they were going to work or not. To my surprise, they fit perfectly with no problems. I would advise you to watch the video on the hose as I learned that the air fitting is easy to change by pressing the latch on the nozzle and then pressing the shock absorber, it snaps into place with no problem. If there are any issues with these shocks I will let you know but as of now 10th September 2020 they are great and fit with no extras. All you need are pliers, jack and wrench. I didn't need an air hose kit, it fits perfectly. I would like to comment on the right and left shock absorbers on the passenger or driver side. I just paid an extra $14 for a driver's side impact. I've read that it can be rotated 180 degrees and it will fit, but I didn't want to risk it. I'm sure like most people I'll put it on once and be done without wasting time trying to figure out if this or that would work. In other words, avoid disappointment, it's bad enough that the original wore out after only 70,000 miles, which is 70,000 miles. Let's see how long these last.
