Just as good as the original.

Great trip. Same as stock. Good deal with Revain. Don't take chances and go to the aftermarket when it comes to this rear shock. You don't want to sacrifice a $100 trip. Stick to the original if you enjoy the original ride.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Factory suspension no longer jumps

Bought for a 2004 Deville DHS, shocks were very hard until I swapped them out for these factory ones. Had to replace air lines so be aware they cost $200. Doesn't feel like a lost Cadillac boost like others have said, but it feels a lot better than before.

  • Great for a small house

An exact replacement for the original!

Exact replacement for the original equipment. Super quick and easy installation. Remove the rear wheels, disconnect the air duct on the bracket, unscrew the top two nuts on each side of the trunk behind the trim panel. Remove the bottom nut and bolt and remove the louver. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of the above procedure. Total running time: about an hour.

Good work. First.

Excellent dampers. I put them on a Buick Park Avenue Ultra with F41 Firm Ride suspension. Perfect fit, although Revain doesn't refer to PA. Ride performance and handling restored. Not harsh at all, just a "cloudy" Buick feel. This is for the driver's side and -147 for the passenger's side. I couldn't tell any difference between the two part numbers. EDIT: Sorry, but I have to deduct a star. While initial ride quality was great, after two years and only about 10,000 miles, the dampers became…

Perfect fit but stiff shock absorber

Delco AC mono-tube load balanced air shocks were the perfect mechanical replacement for the OEM air springs on a 2002 Cadillac DeVille without RSS suspension. Unfortunately, the valves present in this replacement model result in a choppy ride when the car is lightly loaded. Driving performance improves significantly when 200 pounds of cargo is loaded in the trunk, supporting the hypothesis that the interior layout is inconsistent with this vehicle model. The shock air line bushings were…

Runs like factory

Drove straight into a 2006 Buick Lucerne with the hard suspension option. The ride height air system leak has been fixed and the vehicle is back where it should be. If your system is leaking, you will hear how long and how often the air suspension compressor runs. It only took me 10 minutes per side to swap them out. All you have to do is jack up the wheel and remove it. To gain access to the upper mounting screws, pull back the trunk trim panel. Overhead line is a quick connection style. I…

Quality, Reliability, and Durability of Genuine GM Parts

Hope this helps someone. With the right tools, it takes about an hour for both sides. The dealer was asking nearly $800 for what appeared to be the same shocks. What I didn't like was that the strikes came from two different places and were broadcast two days apart, so I didn't know if they were going to work or not. To my surprise, they fit perfectly with no problems. I would advise you to watch the video on the hose as I learned that the air fitting is easy to change by pressing the latch on…
