Delco AC mono-tube load balanced air shocks were the perfect mechanical replacement for the OEM air springs on a 2002 Cadillac DeVille without RSS suspension. Unfortunately, the valves present in this replacement model result in a choppy ride when the car is lightly loaded. Driving performance improves significantly when 200 pounds of cargo is loaded in the trunk, supporting the hypothesis that the interior layout is inconsistent with this vehicle model. The shock air line bushings were compatible with OEM compression and snap fittings, and the compressor regulator did not require modification to be compatible with this shock model.
