Took this to a camping trip in the desert for a week and it performs better than I expected. Anytime anyone in my group needed to really see something in the distance they would ask for my help. It blew them away. Only thing that would make it truly great is a tail switch or a side button that was more tactile. I found it impossible to find it in the darkness of a tent and that can be a problem in an emergency situation. Didn’t have to charge it up all week and it seems to be built really well. Only thing keeping this light from six stars is the switch, but it not a deal breaker for me. I still love this light.
